АО Tsentralnaya geophizicheskaya expeditsiya (The Central Geophysical Expedition, city of Moscow, the company is a part of Rosgeo state parent company) has completed reprocessing and overall interpretation of 3D seismic activity geophysical data on licensed sites of Vostochno-Messoyakhskoe and Zapadno-Messoyakhskoe deposits. These are the most developed onshore oil and gas fields of Russia. The research was carried out by the order of the subsoil user, Messoyakhaneftegaz company.
Thirty specialists of the company took part in the research. The works were supervised by TNNTs and Gazpromneft NTTs specialists together with the customer. For four years of the project implementation, the results of 10 seismic MOGT-3D surveys, carried out in different years with different shot environment, sources and multiplicity, have been combined, and a single unique Supercube base has been created in the area of 3, 430 sq. m. There were received the data on several newly drilled wells, the information on which was immediately considered in designing geoseismic models. Studies have allowed to significantly specify the geological structure of the site and to develop the approaches for a reasonable evaluation of the filtration and capacity characteristics as well as determine the boundaries of deposits and leads.
“The performed works showed a high professional level of TsGE specialists, interest in the achievement of stated goals and high technological infrastructure of the company. For us, as a customer, it has become a guarantee of timely and high-quality fulfillment of the partner's obligations,” noted Nikolay Glushchenko, the Head Geologist of Messoyakhaneftegaz.
