Roman Panov, CEO of ROSGEO Awarded CGE Team for Successful Work on the Results of 2017


A meeting dedicated to stocktaking of ROSGEO work in 2017 took place. At the meeting Roman Panov, General Director and Chairman of the Management Board of the holding, has awarded the Central Geophysical Expedition team for ensuring high efficiency of the company's activities, achieving significant production results aimed at the developing and increasing the competitiveness of the holding. Ildar Zakirzhanov, managing director of JSC SGE, received an honorary certificate.

Dmitry Kobylkin, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, ROSGEO top management and managing directors of subsidiaries took part in the meeting. It discussed the mechanisms for improving the strategic management of ROSGEO, summed up the results of 2017.

The Central Geophysical Expedition showed high production outcome. Since 2017, the company has been implementing the practice of project management through multidisciplinary teams.

In total, over the past year the specialists of CGE have completed the processing of 2D/3D CMP seismic survey - 47507,95 running km./215 sq.km.;  have interpreted 2D/3D CMP seismic survey - 20078,85 running km./240 sq.km.; have carried out well-logged operations – 238 wells, supervising and express processing – 1118 running km.

During 2017 new commercial contracts with major oil and gas companies - Belorusneft, Bashneft, Lukoil, and Irkutsk Oil Company - have been signed. The company is rapidly developing international cooperation. The CGE staff took part in demonstration days for foreign customers in Iran, Syria, South Africa, Pakistan, and Belarus. Seismic data processing has been performed for the Pakistan customer.

Among production achievements should also be noted: implementation of the project in operational reserve calculation for 36 Gazprom Neft objects and its successful critical review in the State Commission on Mineral Reserves; implementation of the project in post-sedimentation (secondary) changes in carbonate rocks study in the Ust-Kut horizon of the Danilovskoye field for the INC company; successful work on government contracts.

Moreover, two new software products have been developed: Migration.Kirchhoff.CGE and Migration.Azimuth.CGE (certificates of software state registration: No. 2017613562 and No. 2017611958). The software "Inpres-Prognoz" has received a registration certificate for further development. The server equipment and storage systems of the Chinese company Sugon have been tested.
